
Troubleshooting Your Planner
ISSUE: I Can’t Access My Planner/I Have Not Received My Purchase / I Don’t See My Purchase In Etsy
First and foremost, please ensure you’re attempting to open your planner through a web browser like Chrome or Safari, rather than the Etsy app on your mobile device.
The Etsy platform does not allow users to access their digital purchases from within their Etsy app. This is a strange and frustrating limitation, but unfortunately this is how Etsy’s App is designed. You can only access your digital downloads by logging into Etsy.com via a web browser.
Here’s how to access your order via Etsy.com:

Go to www.Etsy.com and sign in to the account you used to make your purchase.

Click your Profile photo and from the dropdown menu select Purchases & Reviews

Find the Purchase from 2MagpiesCreative
-
Click the Download Files button on the right. Your order details, a note, and a Download button will appear.

Click Download and follow instructions provided in the Download Key PDF.
ISSUE: My Planner Won’t Open / I Cannot Edit My Planner
When you open your PDF Download Key, click the Download Now button and a preview of your template will open. From there, simply click the blue "USE TEMPLATE" button in the upper-right corner, and your planner will open, ready for use.
If the preview screen doesn’t load, the planner will not open, or you are unable to make any edits to the planner once it is open, it’s likely due to an issue with your Google account or device settings.
Look carefully for any error messages or indicators, such as a grey ring around your profile photo. (Unfortunately, Google does not make these errors obvious so look carefully.)
Below are the most common causes and their solutions:

Insufficient Google Storage: If your Google account is out of storage, the planner won’t open. To fix this, you can delete unnecessary files or purchase additional cloud storage.

Google Account Paused: This may occur due to an expired linked payment method, too many active Chrome profiles, or suspicious login activity. To resolve this, log out of all Chrome accounts, close your browsers, and log back in. If the issue persists, consult Google’s support for assistance in unpausing your account.

Blocked Pop-Ups or Cookies: Ensure your browser allows pop-ups and cookies for Google Drive, as restricted settings can prevent the template from loading.

Outdated Browser: Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. Older versions may not fully support Google Drive’s features.
ISSUE: I Purchased My Planner with the Wrong/Old Email Address
If you purchased your planner with an Etsy account associated with an old/outdated email address, you can still easily access your purchase by logging into your Etsy account you used to make the purchase.

ISSUE: I Purchased My Planner As A Guest, How Can I Access My Planner?
If you've made an Etsy purchase as a guest or without an account, follow these steps to access your digital purchase:

Check Your Email: If you checked out as a guest and didn’t create an account, Etsy typically still sends a purchase confirmation email to the email address you provided. Look for the email with the subject "Your order from 2MagpiesCreative". The email should include a link to download your digital files

Check Your Apple ID or iTunes Account: If you can't find your purchase in your email, check if the purchase went through Apple’s payment system (Apple Pay or iTunes) and see if you can view it through your Apple ID purchases.
ISSUE: I Purchased Using My Apple ID or Apple Email Relay & Can’t Find My Purchase

If you made a purchase on Etsy and used Apple's private email relay to sign in you may have trouble receiving the download email because Etsy sends messages to your relay address rather than your personal email. (Note: Apple Email Relay is a setting on your IPhone or IPad that you may not even be aware is active.) Follow these steps to access your digital download:

1. Check Your Relay Email Settings

Apple uses a private relay email to keep your personal email address hidden. Etsy sends purchase-related emails to this relay address, so make sure that Etsy’s emails are not being blocked or sent to your spam folder.

If you haven’t already, add Etsy's email addresses (e.g., transaction@etsy.com) to your safe senders list in your email settings.

2. Log In on the Etsy Website

Step 1: Open a web browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome) and go to Etsy.com.

Step 2: Log in to your account using the Apple ID or the credentials associated with your Etsy account. This should be the same account linked to your private relay email.

Step 3: Once logged in, click on your Account icon in the top right corner and select Purchases and Reviews.

Step 4: Find the order for your digital download and click the Download Files button to access your purchase.

3. Check Your Email for the Download Link

Search your email inbox (and your spam or junk folder) for an email receipt from Etsy. The subject line should be: "Your order from 2MagpiesCreative".

If you find the email, simply click the download link inside to access your digital file.

4. Add Etsy to Your Safe Senders List

To make sure you receive all future emails from Etsy without any issues, add transaction@etsy.com to your email provider’s safe senders list.

5. Request Direct Access Link:

If you are not able to locate your order after taking the above steps, please let us know so we can provide you with a direct access link to your purchase.
